Dr. Marlene Povilauskas, PT, DPT

Dr. Marlene Povilauskas earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Science and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro College in Bay Shore, New York, in 2006. Over her career she has practiced across nearly every corner of healthcare — skilled nursing, outpatient, homecare, hospital-based acute care rehabilitation, private practice, and school-based physical therapy.
She served as clinical coordinator of education and lead intensive-care physical therapist at Northwell Health in Plainview, New York, where she gained deep expertise in critical care and in mentoring physical therapy students. Among her achievements, she was among the first top-five Allied Health Professionals in the Northwell Health System to complete the Clinical Advancement Program, levels 1 and 2. She holds further certifications in nutrition, wellness and health coaching, muscle energy technique, biofield technique, and integrative and lifestyle medicine.
Today Dr. Marlene brings that wealth of knowledge to a quieter kind of practice — one unhurried hour at a time. She is passionate about seeing clients get well through a whole-body approach, and committed to walking with them toward a better quality of life, health, and transformation.
